Control Modes

Extrusion – Continuous Mode: the MS4 will run the pump continuously at a rate set by the operator.
Extrusion – Extrusion Following: the speed will change depending on throughput to maintain the correct percentage color dosed.
Molding – Cycle Mode: the MS4 provides accurate dosing, regardless of variations in the process by monitoring the screw back time of the injection molding machine.

The peristaltic pump provides precise metering at low rates, to improve the quality of the coloring process.
Solid compression roller mean they never lose their tube compression tolerance, so dosing consistency and accuracy is maintained.
Color changes can be made simply by replacing the feed tube, without the need to stop the process.

Maximized dosing range – intelligent software provides 5 to 1 speed reduction without the need for a gearbox, providing accurate dosing and greater flexibility.

Simple Startup

Startup – 3 Steps

Set shot weight (part gram weight), or extrusion rate (process lb/hr or kg/hr).
Set liquid color percentage.
Set density of the liquid color (lb/gal or kg/ltr).

The MS4 pump automatically calculates the rest, working out the desired weight to volume to dose, reducing any opportunity for error.

Quick Color Changes

Liquid delivery tubes are quick and easy to change when color changes are required.
Liquid color tubes can be re-used and only require replacing periodically according to usage and time.
Typical tube life is 1 to 6 months.

Rapid Access

The split head is easy to access – the cover detaches by releasing 3 screws. The complete roller set can be removed from there.

Easy Maintenance

No seals.
No check valves.
No clearances to allow even the slightest internal leakage.
Self priming pump.
